mali LOVED her first swimming experience. chris would lay her back and she would just close her eyes and relax! b splashed around and taught mali how to splash too! she could care less if it got in her eyes...and b would freak out, of course, if any water got near her face! we all had a great time swimming!

HALLELUJAH!!! finally, updated posts!!!
here are some pics from our recent trip to phoenix. a good friend of mine from high school invited us to her wedding so we decided to make a quick family trip out of it. the girls had a great time...b enjoyed finding things in the suitcase... such as purple sunglasses and a yellow headband (see pic!) and it was very entertaining. we also went to the fashion square mall (you can't go to phoenix and not go shopping!!) and the girls had a great time playing in the big free play area!

updating the blog...urg...
i just have to say that i finally set aside some time to update our blog since everyone has been bugging me to do so :) and what does it do??? NOTHING!! i have been sitting here for 2 hours (wasted the kids whole naptime...when i could have been showering, cleaning the house, reading the bible (our small group is reading through the bible in 90 days!) or eating lunch...but instead, i have changed the template and written some words about how FRUSTRATED i am with blogger because every time try to add a post it tells me that i have encountered and error and to try back in 30 seconds. well, after trying again in 30 seconds for the next 2hrs, i have decided to rant and rave instead!!! so, anyway, i hope you enjoy the updated template instead of the super cute pictures from our trip to phoenix, mali's first swimming experience, b's fun date night with her friend liam, or pics from b's birthday party...i guess i'll have to find another 2 hrs (since i have so many hrs to spare) and i'll update it then. sorry to those of you who were so anxiously awaiting a blog update...you'll just have to deal with my ranting and raving for now...

fun family bowling night...
uncle t had a great idea to go bowling the other night...we had so much fun!! braidyn showed a wide range of emotions as she bowled...and beat me in both games!! in my defense, she got to use the bumpers and i did not.

my dear sweet friend carri offered to take mali for a few hours the other day so mommy could run some errands. they took a stroll around the neighborhood and got all bundled up! thanks again carri!!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!
my sister-in-law, amy, is amazing...not only is she an unbelievable photographer, she's also extremely creative! she made all of the kids valentine's shirts and then took incredible pictures of all of them together...it was so much fun! happy valentine's day everyone!!

extreme home makeover adventure
my dad nominated his friend and his family for extreme home makeover. he is a board member of my dad's nonprofit organization and he runs his own church and helps out his community in a huge way. a couple of my friends, their kids, debra, my parents, mali, and myself all showed up for the "reveal". we had so much fun but had a hard time seeing everything cuz there were so many people there! anyway, here are some fun pics that we got - you can definitely tell when we started yelling "move that bus!"

well, we have to be discreet because a certain tv show hasn't aired yet. but the other day we were very privileged to meet a very special family who gives so much to their community that a certain tv show wanted to give something back to them. my dad nominated this family and they invited us over for coffee the other morning and b had a great time playing with two of their daughters. thanks guys for all that you do for God's Kingdom and for your community, and thanks for giving b such a fun time!

after jumping vigorously for quite some time, mali couldn't fight it any longer. she wanted to jump so badly but just had no energy left. she finally gave her little legs a rest and drifted off into jumperoo land. sweet dreams little mali...
