oklahoma city adventures...

we went to oklahoma city for a pre-paid legal convention - chris, the girls, and i, chris' dad, and our friends brandon, tara, and little brandon. we had a blast! while the guys were at the convention, tara and i took the kids on several adventures! we went to the zoo, a movie, the riverwalk, swimming, and much more! here are a few pics...

and as you can see, brandon was definitely enjoying the double stroller at the zoo!!

b is finally four...and apparently can't wait to be five!!

so we woke up this morning and i asked braidyn if she knew what today was. she said "what?" with a huge smile on her face. and i said "it's your birthday!! you're 4 years old now!" and she replied "yea!! i can't wait to be five!!!" needless to say, she's excited about growing up! we had a great time on her birthday. tara, brandon, mali, braidyn, and i all went to see "horton hears a who" and then we met up with the guys and took a stroll along the riverwalk. then we had birthday cake ice cream and sang happy birthday to b!!

while in okc we got to visit the ppl home office and it was amazing! here are a few pics from tour... note that braidyn only wanted to hold miss tara's hand and brandon wanted to hold b's hand - it was too cute!

wow...it's been FOREVER!...!!

i cannot believe how long it's been since i've made a post! i'm so sorry...i will be working on this over the next several weeks since i have SO many things to post! since i've last posted there has been our trip to oklahoma city, braidyn's birthday, easter, small group bowling night, and our trip to florida - which happens to add up to 288 photos, several videos, and apparently 26 posts... yeah, it's gonna take me a while to get all of that posted so keep an eye out!!

b is obsessed with her new giselle wedding dress - thanks nana and posh! and mali has taken to b's magic wand - thanks for sharing b! it's mali's new favorite toy and she screams when she drops it or we take it away. i guess it's appropriate since she's a princess in training like her big sister!

here's miss cara, (mommy's good friend who also does her hair and paints braidyn's feetnails (toenails) every time i visit her!), and her son kaden and mali - who are betrothed to one another!

mali is reaching for everything now and braidyn never went trough that phase so it's a whole new world for us! the other night, mali was sitting on chris' lap and decided to steal daddy's chips as he put them in his mouth...he wasn't quick enough! she got a hold of one and then she wanted more!

a date night...

b's friend liam came over to play the other night and they had such a great time playing together! they played trains, trains, and more trains...and then they played with trains! they ended the night with a romantic ravioli dinner at a table for two!

swimming in phoenix...mali's first time!!

mali LOVED her first swimming experience. chris would lay her back and she would just close her eyes and relax! b splashed around and taught mali how to splash too! she could care less if it got in her eyes...and b would freak out, of course, if any water got near her face! we all had a great time swimming!

HALLELUJAH!!! finally, updated posts!!!

here are some pics from our recent trip to phoenix. a good friend of mine from high school invited us to her wedding so we decided to make a quick family trip out of it. the girls had a great time...b enjoyed finding things in the suitcase... such as purple sunglasses and a yellow headband (see pic!) and it was very entertaining. we also went to the fashion square mall (you can't go to phoenix and not go shopping!!) and the girls had a great time playing in the big free play area!

updating the blog...urg...

i just have to say that i finally set aside some time to update our blog since everyone has been bugging me to do so :) and what does it do??? NOTHING!! i have been sitting here for 2 hours (wasted the kids whole naptime...when i could have been showering, cleaning the house, reading the bible (our small group is reading through the bible in 90 days!) or eating lunch...but instead, i have changed the template and written some words about how FRUSTRATED i am with blogger because every time try to add a post it tells me that i have encountered and error and to try back in 30 seconds. well, after trying again in 30 seconds for the next 2hrs, i have decided to rant and rave instead!!! so, anyway, i hope you enjoy the updated template instead of the super cute pictures from our trip to phoenix, mali's first swimming experience, b's fun date night with her friend liam, or pics from b's birthday party...i guess i'll have to find another 2 hrs (since i have so many hrs to spare) and i'll update it then. sorry to those of you who were so anxiously awaiting a blog update...you'll just have to deal with my ranting and raving for now...
