gymnastics...it's about time!

we finally enrolled b in a gymnastics class with her friend lilly and she loves it! turns out that her friends daryn and andrew are in that class as well so she has so much fun every time she goes! and her teacher, miss stacey, is so great and amazing with the kids!

my first garage sale!!

i took braidyn and mali garage sailing a couple weekends ago and we had a blast! b got to take some money out of her piggy bank (she chose 6 dollars and 6 coins and we put the rest back in!) and she put it in her own sparkly purse (thank you nana! you can barely see it in the pic but she was super excited about it!) i told her we were gonna go look for treasures and then had to explain that it didn't mean gold coins in a treasure chest. well, we arrived at our first sale and definitely found some treasures! here's b paying for her goods. she bought a princess cash register, a pink shirt for school, three pairs of shoes (because we don't have enough of those...) and she bought mali a cool musical, light-up square play thing - all for $4.50!!! my girl's got skill!

we went to cliff's with our good friends (and b's friend lilly) and they had a blast! here are some pics we got before the camera battery died... the last one is my favorite by far!!

definitely won't be riding the frog hopper again anytime soon.

they're getting so big! they were taking each other's paci's away... it was cute! and they were both sitting there with one sock on and one sock off!

we had a family dinner with grammy, uncle david, and my parents the other night and we went to pappa- deaux's. b was fascinated with the lobster tank and made a new friend while standing there! then a nice lady offered to take one out of the tank for us and b got to pet it and shake it's hand!!

mali got her 2nd tooth!

finally got a pic - it's a bit weird - the angle and all - but here it is!!

mali's second tooth finally came in yesterday! now she has two on the bottom and they look hilarious! of course i can't share a picture because there's no way i can hold her mouth open, hold her tongue back, and snap a picture all at the same time! however, if i ever capture it by freak accident, i will definitely be posting the picture!

oh, and we finally got a new camera, now i just need to figure out how to the get pics on the computer so i can post them!! tons more to come...

getting our sillies out...

so, my camera is broken (so fun) so i can't take a picture of this fun moment and share it with you. however, my computer isn't broken (yay!) so i can just tell you about it!!

b is standing in front of the tv "getting her sillies out" which consists of her signing along to the "get the sillies out" song, waiving her arms in the air and shaking her boo-tay! she's having so much fun... maybe we all need to that every once in a while... thought i'd share!

b was feeding mali some veggie puffs the other day and we asked her to teach mali how to say "more" in sign language. mali could care less, she just wanted her big sis to keep shoveling them in her mouth!!

braidyn's friend lilly came over after school yesterday and they couldn't decide between dress-up and the trampoline ...so they did both!!

the best night in florida...by far!!

our last night in florida, we wanted to find some peel n eat crawfish because that's one of the things i miss the most from living in baton rouge. well, we found an amazing little place that was so great in every way. it is called elmo's and the service was incredible and the music was fantastic! b was a little skeptical of the freaky little things we were eating so she kept to her chicken fingers - and mali to her fries. but we had a great time and the food was incredible!!

jabbo and friends!!!

while eating, we were blessed with some great music and b quickly made a new friend! this is braidyn and her new friend, jabbo. they had a great time singing and dancing together ... and gracing us with some entertainment while we ate! later, one of jabbo's friends came to join us and she was quite a gal! she had maltese puppies in her limo so we took b out there to see them. then we came back inside for some more dancing!!

we pretty much had the place to ourselves so we decided to live it up and boogie on down!! we were doing the hokey pokey, the chicken dance, and the cha cha slide (our favorite!)

we were very impressed with braidyn's ending pose as shown in the last picture. by the way, she came up with that one all on her own!

we couldn't resist another day at the beach!

this was an amazing way to finish off our trip to florida. we spent our last day at the beach again and it couldn't have been more perfect. the weather was warm, the breeze was just enough, and the sand was so fun to play in!! i just have to point out b's fashionable and super adorable swimsuit - we got it for free - long story!! ok, it's a blog - i'll give you the short version!! we found this awesome kids boutique in one of the shopping areas within our resort. my mom found out that if we went on one of those time share tour things that we could get fairly large shopping gift certificates - so, of course, i signed up!! needless to say, we only had to endure 90 minutes of torture for some pretty cute clothes for my pretty cute girls! nana and posh, thanks for your sacrifice!!
