more jumping princesses...
braidyn, aislyn, and our friend's little girl pharrah, were all jumping on the trampoline the other night when we were working on the backyard. as you can see, they were having a ball...or going to the ball, i'm not sure, but they were having fun! and i just have to point out b's hair in the second pic - WILD!!

three peas in a pod...or a wagon
cousin grayson got a cool wagon for his first birthday and he and aislyn came over in it the other day. we were having small group and trying to finish our backyard (yay!!!) and so we decided to stick kaden and mali in the wagon with grayson. this is the result ... mali was super jealous that the boys had their paci's and she didn't ... but all was well when she got hers too!

apparently braidyn likes to get her own milk now. she did it the other day when i was nursing mali and now she does it all the time!

me and my girls...again...
we like to cuddle before bedtime and now every time we do braidyn says "daddy, take a picture!" and so he does and then i put it on the blog. it's not every day you get to cuddle with your girls - soon they grow up and don't like to cuddle anymore. so i treasure these moments and will let daddy take pictures every time we cuddle so i can look back and remember the times...
mali's first ponytail!
she definitely has braidyn beat in the hair department - i put in her first ponytail today and it's SO cute! as of now, it's 5:40pm and it's still in her hair! if i'm lucky enough to get one in b's hair it's usually out by afternoon.

getting to know nanan...
after christy's graduation (see following posts) we traveled to baton rouge so mali could meet her great grandmother (my dad's mom) for the first time. nanan, we enjoyed seeing you and we hope to come visit again some time soon!
mali's first beignet!
for those of you who do not know, a beignet is a french doughnut. yes, it may look like a sopapilla, but it tastes like a doughnut - ummmm SO good!
after staring at it for a while and getting in the mood by putting the morning call hat on, she finally realized that this is the best thing she's had since biter biscuits!
christys graduation and new orleans...
my sister graduated from nursing school in mississippi so mali and i and my parents went down there to be a part of her special day. the next day we drove to new orleans to visit my aunt becky and my cousins richie and jon paul. even though mali spiked a fever due to a viral infection and a trip to urgent care, we had a great time and ate some amazing food!!
mothers day 2008
this mothers day i was surprised by my amazing family with breakfast in bed and beautiful purple tulips (my favorite flower in my favorite color)! braidyn picked out the meal and daddy made it - chocolate chip pancakes!! they were delish! i'm the luckiest mom in the world!
